*Please note a 50% deposit is required upon registration. Any balance due 30 days prior to the start of your retreat will be automatically charged to your credit card.

Retreat Fees and Sliding Scale

Vallecitos provides a sliding scale for participants to choose the individual amount they are able to pay. Their are three tiers available – Base, Actual and Supporting. The low end or base rate of the scale covers just over 80% of the actual cost of the retreat. The high end of the scale allows those who can, to support others to attend retreat. This allows us to offer low cost retreats for those who need it. For those who can pay more, their contribution supports our general operations and Scholarship Fund so that we may offer retreats to those who would not be able to attend otherwise. The retreat fees cost is inclusive of all meals and accommodation. Optional add-ons are extra and part of your registration. Dana is separate at the end of your retreat for Dana based retreats.

Financial Assistance

We offer a sliding scale pricing structure to help make retreats affordable for those who are not able to pay a higher amount. In addition, we offer various scholarship and fellowship opportunities to support those who require additional financial assistance. Visit our Scholarship page.

Registration Process

Please see our retreat schedule to select a retreat. From the retreat’s page, you will be able to click on the “Register Now” button to register for your chosen retreat. Please note that a 50% deposit is required to complete your registration and reserve your spot. If paying your deposit causes a hardship, please contact us.

For our application-based retreats, you will be able to click on the “Apply here” button to submit your application. If/when you are selected for a retreat, we will send you a link to register and a deposit is due at that time.

Cancellations Policy

Late cancellations are costly and mean that others cannot attend retreat. Please contact us immediately if you plan to cancel your retreat. Refunds are based on the total retreat fee. Shuttle and comfort pack fees are refunded in full, regardless on the timing of the cancellation. See the refund schedule below:

45 days prior to retreat: Full refund, minus a $100 cancellation fee
44-15 days prior to retreat: Half refund
14 days or less prior to retreat: No refunds

Wait List Policy

If a retreat is full, we highly encourage you to sign up for the wait list. There are a dedicated number of retreat spots that are allocated to those on the waitlist for each retreat. In addition, wait list spots become available on a regular and sometimes frequent basis. No deposit is required to be placed on a waiting list. If an opening occurs, you will be notified with specific parameters on how and when to confirm your attendance. Your reservation is not guaranteed until the registration form is completed and deposit paid.

Please note that our wait list policy is based on meeting the needs of both you as our guest and Vallecitos as a small retreat center. We handle our waitlists with great care, taking into consideration numerous factors such as ethics, demographics, scholarship funds available and more. We appreciate your understanding and quick reply to our wait list notifications.

Finally, out of consideration for Vallecitos and your fellow retreat goers, please let us know if you no longer wish to be on the wait list.

Adding Items or Paying Your Balance

To add items such as shuttle or comfort pack, please contact us with the details of your request. We will send you a statement with a link to pay for additional items. Please know that any balance due within 30 days of the start of the retreat will be automatically charged to your credit card.
